Young Aerospace Engineers Workshop

The Young Aerospace Engineers Summer Workshops are back for 2024! It's a perfect opportunity for students who have completed grades 3-6 in 2024 to explore their potential in the fields of STEM. Students will actively learn about the principles of Aerospace, General Engineering, and Science through lessons, activities, projects, and competitions amongst students. We will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays from July 30 - August 22 from 4-6 pm at the Montgomery High School. Students will also be given a snack break and may bring their own nut-free snacks. The money will be used to fund the Aerospace Club in competitions and launches.

Prices:

$35 per day 

$120 for a four class package

$200 for an eight class package

$45 for walk-ins

Aug 13th - Magnetism 

Aug 15th - Aerospace, basic rocketry

The workshops will differ entirely from last year, so returning attendees are always welcome! Students from all school districts are welcome!

Montgomery High School Aerospace club is excited to announce our second annual Young Aerospace Engineers event, running this Valentine's Day Weekend (February 11th) from 4:00 to 9:30 at Montgomery High School. This event will be open to students in grades 3 to 6. If your child is interested in participating but is not in this grade range, please email us! Our workshop will give attendees the opportunities to indulge in concepts of aerospace, engineering, physics, and electricity with the use of circuits, complex crafts, and hands-on learning. As the event in 2023 will be the second annual Young Aerospace Engineers Event, the concepts will differ entirely from last year, giving returning students a brand new experience. This event is the perfect opportunity for elementary and middle school students to learn about the importance of satellites within the space industry as well as hone their introductory aerospace skills. Dinner and snacks will be served to all attendees free of charge. Whether your student is interested in engineering/science or just someone with a passion for space, this event has something for everyone.
